KD93 ex Bourbon Cask

Maturing in an organic bourbon barrel for just over 4 years, our newest whisky release was just tasting too good not to decant and share. 

A couple of guests who have joined us on our Exclusive Whisky Experience have gotten to sample this one straight from the barrel, and it has been a stand-out for the last couple of months. 

The nose is sweet and reminiscent of key lime pie, with hints of coconut and lime, alongside caramel biscuit notes. The sweetness continues on the palate with burnt honey and fresh fruit balanced by oak spice and nutmeg, before a long finish with lingering vanilla and toasted macadamia notes.

The final result being a well-balanced, smooth and very drinkable whisky with an excellent mouth-feel that covers the whole palate and stays with you well after the last sip.
